Update On The Status Of Geo Com Notebook

You will be interested to know that this project is far from dead. Over the past few years it has been a hobby and therefore has been on the back burner,while I deal with other work. Now that I am working for Geo Com Ltd full time projects such as Geo Com Notebook and Menuola will have updates on the way.

We have been brainstorming some ideas, on how to improve Geo Com Notebook. We now believe the answer awaits the upcoming release of Cocoa within REALBasic, as this is the tool we used to make Geo Com Notebook. When this is released we will be able to implement RTF text documents, which means that you will be able to put pictures into your documents.

We also believe that a rebranding will be needed to be able to better promote our product, as there is a major amount of School based text projects out there. In most cases these products are forced upon Students, by the school.

However there are some products in our package that are better suited to Students than the general public and because of this Geo Com Notebook is likely reintroduced as a separated product. However product discounts will be available if the products are brought at the same time.

So watch out for the new stand alone Geo Com Notebook as a one Window Text Editor.
